Raymond Walz has been practicing law since 1976, and focuses his practice on family law, estate planning, real estate, probate (including guardianship and conservatorship), criminal defense and civil litigation matters. He associates with a network of experienced attorneys for personal injury, workers
compensation, employment, defamation and complex civil litigation matters, and refers cases outside of his expertise to knowledgeable attorneys.
Mr. Walz has prior experience as a prosecutor and in governments matters as a former Redwood County Attorney and the Delhi City Attorney.
He has presented seminars on farm divorce financial issues for Minnesota Continuing Legal Education and on estate planning issues for local community organizations. He is the author of the Financial Issues in Farm Divorce chapter of the Minnesota Family Law Financial Deskbook published by Minnesota Continuing Legal Education, and a frequent consultant on farm divorce financial issues.
Mr. Walz is a Vietnam veteran and a veteran’s advocate. He was recognized as a WCCO Good Neighbor and as one of Ten Outstanding Young Minnesotans in 1983 by the Minnesota Jaycees, and received the Redwood Falls Distinguished Service Award in 1982.
Mr. Walz is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA) Real Estate, Family Law, Veterans Affairs, and Solo and Small Firm Sections.
